i feel like lines like that need to be followed by dramatic action, like walking out of a room and slamming the door or throwing something violently on the ground. except hairclips make it hard to come up with any dramatic reponse that wouldn't look completely absurd; anyone present would probably just laugh if you threw a bunch of hairclips at the floor, including you. so i guess you can't really hate hairclips, can you? no, no you can't.
