Day One

Q Hey can we talk it out?
A NAH GET THE FUCK OUT!

Saturday, March 28, 2009

And the first girl told the second girl this story, and the whole time she was talking it looked like she was about to crack up. The second girl was obviously scared. But the first girl, the one who was telling the story, looked like she was about to roll on the floor laughing.

And then, remembered Pelletier, Espinoza said the first girl was a two-bit psychopath and the second girl was a silly bitch, and the film could have been good if the second girl, instead of staring openmouthed and looking horrified, had told the first one to shut up. And not gently, not politely, instead she should have told the girl: "Shut up, you cunt, what's so funny? does it turn you on telling the story of a dead boy? does it make you come telling the story of a dead boy, you imaginary-dick-sucking bitch?"

And so on, in the same vein.

These are bad plans and there are things in the spaces with fog going backwards, just all around no matter where you are swiping your hands or waiting to get your picture taken. There are just things all around no matter how many things there are going in a rocketship for decades or just waiting to be eaten or threatened.

I say good morning and good night to my mother instead of hello and goodbye. I say okay like my cousin.

Hi Baby

I know you're under a lot of pressure at your work and all. And I do understand. You have no idea how much I understand. But you also don't have any idea how much I love you. I love you so much. I think about you, I feel you in my arms, I miss you..I miss you terribly. I've always wanted someone like you in my life. I love you so much that I'd do anything. I'd do anything. I'll be your perfect woman for you.

When I wake up in the morning

I scheduled myself to think about the future tonight.

My collection history in chronological order: rocks, stickers, paper, sugar packets, matchboxes, yellow sweaters, spoons, chairs, tables.

My first pen pal went to Stanford University when I was in elementary school. She capitalized all of her Rs so I capitalized all of my Rs. Once when my mother was checking my homework she found them unacceptable so I rewrote all of my Rs. I had a bad eraser and poor technique.

When I called the UC Retirement Fund to see why I had an account with upwards of $3 in it, the lady who answered - I think her name is Sherry - had the same birthday as myself. She had to verify my identity.

I will bite into your clitoris and spit out two franc pieces

A room galleries my drawings from fall quarter and the paper I have collected for 7 years. There is a bookshelf of things I don't want to throw away yet and another one has 1 shelf of books I have purchased but not read. There is 1 box of readers and 1 box of bags I use as purses. I have a trophy from 1987, University High School. 1 of the 8 outlets are plugged in. If there was a massive earthquake and everything became out of place I would be annoyed. If a fire burned down the house I would be better.

I had a strong desire to quit my internship. Instead, I would have purchased a student advantage card with Amtrak and couchsurfed on the weekends. Fortunately, it takes too long to train anywhere I want to go.

I have had several conversations with people who believe that Keanu Reeves is a great actor. I still don't get it but I'm sure they make sense. It's like how I keep trying beer but I never like it.

I bought a Tempur-Pedic pillow today so it can only go uphill from here.

As I ate my supper, I thought that maybe it would be okay if she died.

Q What do you do for a living?
A I work in a meth lab.

I will be running out of underwear the same time I run out of a place to live

In the 12th grade I wrote a play with an introduction quoting James Joyce, Nine Inch Nails, and The Shins. I think that the plot had to do with family members, killing, and the repetition of the word bang, which was the central metaphor of it all. I also gave a presentation on an OK Go song and shot what felt like every event that happened at school.

I'm already out of socks.

Afterward

"If only Facil were here to tell me what an idiot I've become!" But Bartholomeo Facil, Poissel's closest friend and erstwhile collaborator, had left Paris in 1881, and would not return until 1905. Despair compounded fatigue; Poissel was no longer seen by day, and seldom at night.

Burning of Spring

Five days later Baron Haussmann dreams that he is once again the Prefect of Paris. His administration is put in charge of the seasons of the year: summer, fall, spring, etc. He draws up a plan for a system of warehouses in which the best-known features of each season will be stored: the summer smell of hot stone, the graying skies of autumn, the snow dirtied by Parisian feet, the trees in bloom. He also designs a network of channels by which each season can be delivered to the city within a week at most. We could change seasons seven or eight times a year, easily, he notes in his report to the municipal council, or we could add new seasons to satisfy the needs of a growing population: sprall, a season of mist and fine rain, good for gathering various fruits in the forest; or fammer, a hot, gray, still season, suitable for riots. Not long after these "weather axes" become operational, the Baron learns that there was a fire in the warehouse where they keep the spring, and that the vernal season has been entirely destroyed. Now the question arises, what are they going to do on March 21? Baron Haussmann can't decide whether to have an early summer or to draw the winter out. He wakes up, still unable to choose between the two.
